Feast of Pentecost

It has been a great joy to share the good news of Messiah with Jewish people this Pentecost / Shavuot season! Rev. David A. Baker came to preach, teach, and to pray for the Jewish people in Kyiv, Odessa, and by internet for Zaporozhye. Each person and / or family who receives a food package expresses their thanksgiving for such generosity by believers from the U.S.A. who donate to Messiah's Compassion. We have had the privilege not only to serve needy elderly Jewish people, but also families with children who have mental and / or physical challenges. "Pentecost" / "Shavuot" is the Feast of Weeks festival found in Leviticus chapter 23. It starts 50 days following Passover. It commemorates the event when Moses received the Commandments of the Lord and likewise looks back on Acts chapter 2 when the Holy Spirit was given to those followers of Yeshua (Jesus) when they waited in Jerusalem for the Promise prophesied.

Excitedly, I share now that two Jewish people have prayed to received Yeshua as Messiah in Odessa recently. - One mid-aged Jewish lady received a healing who had breathing and energy problems. In Kyiv, we witnessed a young Jewish teenager, Samson, whose knee was healed of pain, and his younger brother was healed of an appendicitis attack. Aaron following prayer and treatment did not require removal of that organ. Our congregation partners here in Ukraine are so thrilled with several answers to Holy Spirit-led prayer! All glory to our King Yeshua (Jesus)! Oksana, (Messianic leaders in Zaporozhe), Pastor Alexander’s wife, was healed after prayer when a lodged kidney stone vanished. We have continued the daily internet prayer meeting by which we express needs to the LORD. During personal visits with food bags, we always pray for Jewish people’s needs.

New Ministry Van

A very special thanks and honor designated donations by Ron Simek, and Rev. David A. Baker. Through their generosity this vehicle was made a reality. Hallelujah! This vehicle is dedicated to serve the Jewish people. Since moving back here to Ukraine in March of 2020, I have walked everywhere, used public transportation, and hired drivers to help us deliver food packages. This van is an amazing blessing from heaven!
