About the founder

The founder of Messiah's Compassion, Jeffrey Coose, has a long and dedicated history of serving the Jewish population. In the 1990's, Jeff visited Israel, Russia, and Ukraine developing the foundation for his ministry.

Since then, Jeff has collaborated alongside other organizations and finally started Messiah's Compassion: a unique non-profit to serve unreached Jews living in poverty.

Our History

 

1990-2010

 
  • Completed several missionary trips to Israel, Russia, and Ukraine

  • Gained a foundation in the Slavic Jewish communities

  • Cooperated with local congregations in Israel

  • Began ministering to Jewish people in Ukraine’s major cities

 

2010-2015

 
  • Assisted in establishing the New Jerusalem congregation in Odessa, Ukraine (2010)

  • Began relationship with Magen Israel congregation in Kyiv, Ukraine (2011)

  • Special ministry trip for Jewish people in Pyatigorsk, Russia (2011)

  • Food distribution and ministry in Rostov on Don, Russia (2011)

  • Partnered with ministry team from Poland in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine (2011-2012)

  • Messianic Jewish youth camp with Reverend Faye Sakil and PK team from Oklahoma (2013)

 

2015-Present

 
  • Assisted in establishing the Promised Land congregation in Kotovskovo District of Odessa, Ukraine (2015)

  • Cooperated with the launching of a new location for an affiliate of Magen Israel congregation in Kyiv, Ukraine (2016)

  • Ministered among Jewish people in Munich, Germany (2016)

  • Special ministry trip among Penecostal churches in three cities in Czech Republic (2016)

  • Assisted in launch of new congregation in Chernomorsk, Odessa, Ukraine (2017)

  • Jewish Evangelism and ministry trip in Toronto, Canada (2017-2018)

  • Messiah’s Compassion, Inc. non-profit officially formed (2018)

  • Established ministry base office in Kyiv, Ukraine (2020)

  • Various ministry trips across Ukraine (2020-2021)

  • Purchased first ministry van (2021)

  • Temporarily moved ministry base office to U.S. and Czech Republic due to Russian war in Ukraine (2022)

  • Purchased and arranged medical supplies and equipment from U.S. to Ukraine through Poland (2022)
